Beginnings.....
I guess this is probably a good idea. Write (er, type) my thoughts and feelings as I go through this crazy process of starting a family. I have had every good intention of keeping an online journal, but somehow I suck at actually starting and updating it :)Here is my first entry....we'll see how the rest of it goes.
My husband and I got married in June 2002. We had dated for 5 years before that, and were engaged for 2 years before the "big day". We decided we'd like to start our family on our honeymoon....so off the pill I went. Fast forward 30 months, and we are still waiting for our baby :-\. We have been through a lot in the last 2.5 years, but we know that it has made our committment to each other, and the love we share stronger. Sometimes I am thankful that these problems have shown us how much we love each other, other times I wonder what "we" did to deserve this - ultimately I know that we will have our baby, and that we will look back at these times and marvel at how we managed to overcome all the challenges while maintaining our humor (and sanity).
So, that's it for my first entry. I have a pile of work that needs to be done. Grrrrr
